Itinerary
11:00AM - 2:00PM
We have been granted with a very horizontal riding surface. Many millennia ago, the ice age melted and produced miles of delightful riding. Alright the ice age had nothing at all to do with it, but there are plenty of smashing flat roads and beautiful scenery to savor. This will give you an ample amount of time to enjoy the ride.
12:00PM - 2:00PM The Picnic at Christianson's Nursery
After the photographs of daffodil’s are taken, you might fancy a picnic brunch mid way through the journey. Spread a blanket and enjoy a spot of tea and cookies. Perhaps a scone or lemonade? Maybe you’ll partake in a ripping good game of croquet or badminton?
After The Ride…
Our great adventure shall conclude around 2PM at the La Conner Swinomish Library. Not-so-coincidentally the very same location where we began and in close proximity to our Dear Friends at the Firehall Kitchen & Tap House where the hobnobbery and other diversions await! Isn’t it amazing how these things work out?

Inquiring minds may ask, why, Sirs, do you insist upon 10AM? To this we shall reply, that after a most thorough and scientifically sound analysis of the diurnal habits of the native tweed rider (Herringbonius Velocopedus), our team of experts have determined that they require increased social interaction, along with the quaffing of a plethora of potables and a variety of victuals. As naturalists, we desire to create as close to a natural habitat for these delicate creatures as possible.
With this in mind, we propose that the Tweed Ride should have a Brunch Picnic! This will give those slightly more nocturnally-inclined individuals of the species time to catch up with us. So please BYOB (Brunch)!
Any proceeds collected from this revelry will help to benefit the La Conner Swinomish Library Foundation.
